Mr Fredy Markovits
Physiotherapist, MSK Sonographer and MSK anatomist
Graduated in 2012 with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East London. During his training he developed a special interest in anatomy and physiology and started teaching anatomy soon after graduation. He is a qualified musculoskeletal sonographer with a PG Cert in MSK Ultrasound qualification from the University of East London and had been working as a Physiotherapist for almost 10 years. He has also worked as an FCOP at The Homerton NHS Trust.
Parallel to his clinical work, he had been teaching applied musculoskeletal biomechanics under the Orthopaedics team at St George’s University Hospital as part of the medical program. Currently, he works as guest lecturer for anatomy at University of East London and Brunel University. He took part in various anatomy projects in cadaveric labs, 3D printed functional models and consulted in a team developing virtual reality surgical simulations.
