Dr Hadi Bedran
Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management MD, FCAI, FFPMRCA
Dr Bedran graduated from the University of Istanbul School of Medicine with an MD in 2003. He completed specialty training in anaesthesia and fellowship in pain medicine from the Imperial College and Royal Free Hospitals. He subspecialised in pain neuromodulation at Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals in 2015/16. Dr Bedran is fellow of the Irish College of Anaesthesiologists and Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
In 2016, Dr Bedran was appointed as a consultant anaesthetist to St. Georges University Hospital where he started the pain neuromodulation service, which he currently leads. Clinical interests include US guided pain interventions, US guided regional anaesthesia, inserting local anaesthetic catheters for intractable pain, fluoroscopy guided cancer pain interventions, epiduroscopy, and peripheral nerve stimulation.
Dr Bedran regularly teaches US based techniques on national workshops (RA-UK, WAPMU, Birmingham Cadaver Course) and he mentors anaesthetic trainees who are undergoing their regional anaesthesia placements. He is an educational supervisor and pain module lead at St. George’s Hospital.
