About this course
This one day course provides an ideal introduction for Poditrists on the topic of foot and ankle musculoskeletal ultrasound. All participants will complete the day knowing what ultrasound can visualise, the skills required and how it can impact practice.
Initially covering basic physics and safety principles of ultrasound use before covering core probe skills techniques and how to generate a high quality musculoskeletal ultrasound image. Commonly encountered peripheral musculoskeletal structures around the ankle and foot will be covered alongside case study examples of pathology, giving delegates a thorough appreciation of the role ultrasound can play in assisting with clinical practice.
The course takes place at Ashtead Cricket Club (Parsons Mead Pavilion) , Ottways Lane View Location Maps
